So now the world knows that Catherine Zeta Jones has Bipolar Disorder. I think it is wonderful that she is sharing this with the public.

I facilitate group therapy and know that many still carry around the stigma of both Bipolar and Mental illness. You may be surprised just how many of your friends, neighbors and co-workers struggle silently when they don't need to.

Help is available, and this topic being in the news will hopefully encourage others to seek out the help and the support that is avaiilable. Shame has no part of healing and keeps many from living the kind of lives they want.
