    Jesusita Trail to Inspiration Point

The Jesusita Trail starts at the end of San Roque Road, right past the Cater water treatment plant. The Jesusita trail junctions with the Tunnel Trail and it is possible to start at the other end of the trail. At approximately 7 miles round trip, this hike can be a bit challenging. The hike is moderately steep with an approximate elevation gain of 1200ft. You may need to cross a couple of streams on your hike depending on the time of year.

On May 5th, 2009, a wildfire started on the Jesusita Trail from persons using power tools to clear/manicure the trail. Approximately, 8700 acres were burned in the fire including parts of the Jesusita Trail. The trail was closed for a while, but is now reopen. However, there are still remnants that remind you of the devastation.

TrailHead - It may be a little difficult to see the trail head from the road. Immediately, after the water treatment plant you will notice some spots to park on the right hand side of the road. Right across the street lies the trail head.

As a Tim Burton fan, I may seem biased, but as an artist I loved the movie. Very intense with imagination that reminds you of fantasies and forces you to remember the story as a kid. Love it. Go to last post

Alice in Wonderland. . was it worth it?

If you saw the movie, did it live up to the hype?

I saw a line of people waiting in the rain at the Arlington theater on Saturday night and wondered if it was really worth it? Go to last post

Friends and I are looking for a house to share. Preferably several bedrooms and a bathroom. Hot tub is important. Ideally we would like a rent-to-own situation. Perhaps $1600 per month, depending.... Go to last post
