I know its getting towards the end of summer, but are there any local cruise nights around still?

Didn't know there was such thing around here. I know all the ghetto people would go over to Saviers in Oxnard to go "cruise" I don't know why they do it over there because that place is pretty dead. Nothing to do, nothing to look at, and I guess the place to go eat over there is the PHO so1 place or Toppers Pizza.

I'm more interested in the hot rod/classic car scene. I know Newbury Park used to have one next to Home Depot on Saturday nights, but that was 5 years ago. I know the imports/street racers used to meet up at Del Taco in Camarillo, Best Buy/Walmart in Oxnard, but that was a while ago.

I know that some hot rods would hang out at Frosty Freeze on Telegraph Rd. I just don't remember when. I think the street racers now hang out at in and out near BJ's. Not that I have ever done anything like that before.

Yea I remember the Foster Freeze one. There is a huge turnout over in Camarillo off of Las Posas in the shopping center over there. Mostly import stuff. Another import one on Tuesdays in Simi at the Carl's off Tapo Cyn. I think it still happens.

There is on the 1st sat. of the month(i think) in Santa Paula. Not sure where, but I know my neighbor goes sometimes. Shouldn't be hard to find since SP is pretty small.

What can I say.. I love me them Imports. I do respect a lot of the hot rods out there but I can't say I will be driving a domestic car any time soon. I wont be fixing up anything that is common though. Everyone would drive a Civic/Accord/Mustang/Camaro and some other type of honda. That's why I loved my Acura TL and Toyota Corolla not many people would mod them. Now I have something else to play with
