    Default Hello World

my very first post wonder how to make it count? Well let me speak whats on my mind currently
I was fired! Reason - My boss was not vibing my energy over the phone with customers. in the beginning she did but 10 months later I was no longer a twinkle in her eye.
my profession for many years is customer service, I get the job done in a timely manner and I am not rude at all. I am clear to the point and I put myself in the customers shoes on every call they are always right and I take the heat for the whole company no matter what the issue. I actully get told ALOT that I was so easy to work and speak with ....oh and I have to add that I have a great phone voice! OK I feel better. Anyway I am about to file for unemplyment and I am trying to figure out what to put for the reason I am not working. Poor Energy? Bad Vibe after 10 months of service? my boss had a vision and I wasn't in it? hee hee
So the search for a new job continues, I should actully take this as a good sign, I mean I can go after other avenues art, my kids, more adventure...get a night job to be home with family during the day instead of paying a lump of money to a child care service. BRIGHT side there is always one! Right? Anyone know of a 3rd shift position open to a shiny happy person like me.
I invite you to comment and share your firing experience, or any input on the job market.

    Default hi

I am not an expert on unemployment, but it has been my understanding that all you need to say is that you were fired. It is better for you to have been fired than to quit as far as collecting unemployment is concerned.
I am also searching the job market as a recent grad school graduate, and I have to say it's been hard getting excited about the current job market. I have found though that instead of looking at websites like craigslist or monster.com, that by going to company's websites and looking in the employment section I find much higher quality positions. So you may want to start by thinking of where you would actually love to work and check them out!
