Default Alice in Wonderland. . was it worth it?

If you saw the movie, did it live up to the hype?

I saw a line of people waiting in the rain at the Arlington theater on Saturday night and wondered if it was really worth it?

As a Tim Burton fan, I may seem biased, but as an artist I loved the movie. Very intense with imagination that reminds you of fantasies and forces you to remember the story as a kid. Love it.

I loved the book and the 1951 Disney film (one of my all time favorite Disney films), so I'm a little skeptic to see this after I saw the trailer for it. I'm a Tim BUrton fan and all, so I have some hope for this.

I'm a pretty big burton fan but I'm still confused about the whole thing. I sat through it and just couldn't help but notice I wasn't entertained, but I wasn't bored either. It's very weird for me to be neutral about a film, but that's just how I felt about it. Although going in with no expectations will help since mine were probably a little high.
