Angry 12 hours of driving, 1000 miles and 2 speeding tickets. . . all in a days work

Yesterday, I headed up to Sacramento for business. Out on the 46 in the middle of nowhere I see a car coming towards me and I start to slow down as it looks like a CHP cruiser. The CHP passes me and all I see in the rearview are brake lights and he flips a bitch. I pull over and he gives me a ticket for 80 in a 55.

On my way home, I am trying to keep with the flow of traffic and have cruise control set. At around 8pm right around San Luis Obispo, going down the hill, I have 2 cars in front of me in the fast lane that I am pacing. We pass the CHP on the side of the road and I had a bad feeling. I see him turn on his headlights and I know I'm fucked. So I start making my way over to the slow lane and hope he is going after one of the 2 cars in front of me. Nope, he lights me up. I ask him why he pulled me over and not one of the other 2 cars in front of me going exactly the same speed. He said that my car stood out more and then started to try and BS with me about cars. After the BS'in, he says I am still giving you a ticket, but I am going to mark on the ticket you were going 80 in a 65 so you can go to traffic school. I guess if it is 16 over, you can't take traffic school.

So now I have 2 tickets to pay, at least 1 point on my driving record, have to take traffic school and my insurance is going to go up.ARGHHHHHHHHH !

Nice... sounds like you had a fun time with the cops. I have been trying to stay away from them I have had my share of run ins with them. What can I say speeding is fun but cops are there to "protect": rolleyes:
