Default Iphone. . . is it worth it?

I have a blackberry right now with sprint and my contract is up. I was thinking of switching to ATT and getting the new Iphone 3g. How does it work on a business aspect, i.e. composing emails, text and how fast is the web browsing? How is the reception and phone service?

I absolutely LOVE my iPhone! You can get your emails from the phone of course. The internet works great, the connection speed is decent, good for a phone. Everything is user friendly and very easy to use, the only thing I DO NOT like is the fact that we can't send pics in a text, but you can email one. Also the camera will not record video, strictly pics. Hope this helps.

Thanks, I actually upgraded to the iphone and enjoy it for the most part. I had to jailbreak it to get the apps I wanted installed. It will take video now with the Cycorder app. I also am able to use the landscape keyboard while texting with the biteSMS app.

SWEET! Did those cost anything? I'm sure they did, I went the cheap way and just got some free apps, lol. I'm gonna have to look into those other apps, I hate texting the portrait way.

The biteSMS is a free app and the Cycorder is a paid app, but there are ways to get all the apps free. Just google jailbreak iphone and start reading.
