By Tonya Strickland -- Sleek, older cars have long drawn crowds to Paso Robles, according to community leaders, and continue to be an important tourism staple two years after the city parted ways with one popular car show. “This community is an enthusiast classic car town,” which is good for business, said Mike Gibson, president of the Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce. The West Coast Kustoms Cruisin’ Nationals car show — the Memorial Day weekend fixture that remained in Paso Robles for nearly three decades — attracted car-lovers throughout California, and sometimes from other states as well.
