By Sona Patel -- Military veterans attending Cuesta College now have a place on campus to meet and study, thanks to a new center dedicated to serving them.“Being in the military, we spend massive amounts of time being together, and then you get out and are among civilians, and it’s hard to relate,” said Josh Shepherd, 25, president of the Associated Students of Cuesta College and a six-year U.S. Navy veteran. School officials held a reception Wednesday to mark the opening of a Veterans Affairs Office located on the college’s San Luis Obispo campus.
