By AnnMarie Cornejo -- The Atascadero City Council is scheduled to consider Tuesday whether to rename two prominent areas of Stadium Park to honor longtime community advocate Marjorie Mackey.The city’s Parks and Recreation Commission is recommending that the main trail leading into the park and the bowl area be named after Mackey to honor her memory and contributions to the community.Mackey, who died May 22 at 88, was a former councilwoman and an outspoken advocate for Atascadero’s rural ambience.
