By Amy Dempsey -- Alyssa and Justin Waldron rang in the new year with their newborn, Amelia Anne Waldron, at Twin Cities Community Hospital in Templeton — the first baby born in San Luis Obispo County in 2010.After arriving at the hospital about 10 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, Alyssa Waldron gave birth at 12:20 a.m. Friday.Amelia Anne is the Waldrons’ first baby. She was born one week early, weighing 7 pounds and 3 ounces, and was 21 inches long.
