    Default Freeway construction

So I am extremely relieved that the freeways are finally being worked on BUT it seems that they are doing extreme amounts of patchwork and I'm not really sure what the final plan is. They seem to be paving all of the on and off ramps but what about the rest of the freeway? I hope they extend some of the on ramps expecially the Arrellaga onramp. Anyone know what the plans are for the freeways?

roads got fixed every time when economy goes down - this is pattern. So, I guess, it will take a long time before they fix every road.

I have to cross under the Milpas overpass every day to get to work. One of the crosswalks is closed because of this, so I have to go up an extra 2 blocks after work, then cross the street and backtrack to the bus station by Trader Joe's. Usually this results in me missing an earlier bus that I could definitely make if the normal crosswalk is there...so I really wish they would finish up already since waiting an extra 20 minutes or so when all you want to do is get home suuuuucks.

I agree it has been hard to tell what the heck they're doing thats taking years and years. Then again, I don't drive the freeways all too often (no car).

I have noticed that the current construction projects that are going on, are taking a long time. It seems, especially with a narrow, limited lane freeway that has to handle a lot of traffic during rush hours, that these projects should be getting done more quickly. Always thankful for maintenance, but often it makes travel that much more difficult.

I just hate the traffic because of the road work... but yesterday I went to LA, and I love SB again!

I hope that one day traffic actually improves as a result of all the constructions.

I wish they would cease most of the construction...I like to see nature not shopping malls...

Update on the road condition. Recently I got new tires for my car and it turned out I had to do alignment too. They said that probably because the road (esp. on HW101) is bad, so wheels got out of balance and it was the cause that tires worn out faster then usually.
So, new tires $500 + tire alignment $150, feel bums on the road - priceless!
