Whole Foods in Santa Barbara

Does anyone know when they will be open? I think they are going to be on upper state street where the old circuit city used to be?

Looks like it opened this week and has created a parking mess. Personally, I don't see what the hype is all about.

I went there for the first time last night and still don't see what all the hype was about. Seemed overpriced and I was unable to find everything that I needed. Their butcher counter did impress me though.

I like it for special needed items. I like their selection of granola and seeds as well as other healthy, not so common foods. But as for doing all of your grocery shopping there, don't bother. Their fruit and other everyday item are probably no different than the stuff you can find at Ralphs.

Oh wow! Great link. I can't believe they pulled that over on all of us!
I totally agree that organic = backyard grown. You can't trust anyone and homegrown tastes far better in most cases anyways.
