What happened to 95.9 The Octopus?

Looks like they switched their programming to only 70's and 80's music? Are there any stations with modern rock out there? And no Justin Beiber is not modern rock.

The bad part about living in Camarillo and North of that is that all the LA stations are basically static. We need more modern rock out here!

I'm not sure what "modern rock" is anymore. Most of the stations here in VC that have the newest stuff on them seem to be heavy with rap and gangster-type stuff. The other stations are either "Classic Rock" like 95.5 or more "Easy Listening" like "The Wave" (which, I think, is an SB station).

To me Modern Rock is like the stuff you hear on KROQ in los angeles where as on the hit channels its the poppy type rock. Classic rock is good but not modern hence the name ;]
