Default Hidden Secrets of the 805

Anyone have a special place they like to go? Entertainment? Fun? Hidden Spot?

I feel like I could go on an exploration of this great County.

I used to go the nets out in Simi when I was in high school, but the Simi Town Center came in and destroyed that tree. I think there is a new location out on the east side somewheres now though.

The cross up in the hills in Ventura is a nice quiet look out spot. Any place in Ojai really. Just moved to TO, so still exploring...

There are beautiful parks! You have Lake Casitas and Foster Park in Oak View, there is a great park also on a mountain close to Ventura high school. Beautiful view! Missions are pretty nice...

There used to be a giant tree just north of the 118, where the simi town center now is, that had cargo nets placed throughout that you could climb up to the top in. mostly kids went there to drink and drugs and who knows what else. my brother told me of a new one, but he hasn't been there in a couple years.

Oh wow that would have been super awesome! Not the drinking/drugs thing but being able to do that- you only see that stuff in movies nowadays.
