Local ska band?

I was wondering if there is a local ska band in the area, or if there are musicians interested in starting an hommage ska band.

ska, the one truly dead genre. would be cool to see a comeback of sorts, there were a few bands i really enjoyed listening to. unfortunately, my guitar skills are limited to a few tabs...

ska is not dead! A new wave is actually coming up! A little bit more hardcore, but still ska with brass! Many band that we knew when we were young are dead... but ska exist since late 50's.... always have a ska band somewhere!

Put an ad on craigslist. I bet you could get a group together..
Genres cant die. They just go in and out of popularity.
