East County Robbery Spree

Well after a week they finally caught the duo that car jacked and robbed a guy, (he was getting out of his car and forced back in and taken to a bank where they had him withdraw cash), they got in the car in Newbury then left him on the side of the road in Moorpark, then they robbed a few dry cleaners out in Newbury Park and went back to the same one and were caught on their way home. Car was found abandoned in a shopping center at Janss. Looks like they had some priors with drugs.

I was wondering though, what would you do in the situation of the guy being car jacked? If they forced me to drive I would think I would just step on the gas and gun it on the freeway and get some CHP to follow me, I don't think they would try to hurt me at the wheel if I am going triple digits you know? But if I were to be in that situation with 2 people threatening my life, who knows how my mind would be functioning...then when I get to the bank I think I would have just tried to make a break for it before they got my money...

I see this was from a while back, things are not so great here in Ventura crime-wise. I get Nixel updates almost daily of the crimes committed, just crazy. I think economy has some part in this all. IMHO
